Magnificent pair of raspberry overlay crystal wine glasses, finely cut, Cassino model, produced between the 1950s and 1970s.

Refined crystal craftsmanship
Each bowl, in a deep raspberry red hue, is intricately cut with deep diamond points, revealing the clear crystal beneath the coloured layer. The slender hexagonal stem rests on a circular foot, acid-etched with the Baccarat mark under each base.

Collector’s pieces
These roemer-type glasses were originally designed for white wines or Rhine wines. The raspberry colour, far less common than green or red versions, is particularly sought after and adds a distinctive touch to any collection or coloured crystal service.
