In perfect original condition, it measures approximately 14.1 cm in diameter.
Under the glaze we can read a date, at the bottom of the neck, 1808 or 1828, below, barely visible under the glaze, the name of the author, on the left side of the medallion, in hollow, the name of Horace Vernet.
