"Silver Shell Sugar Spoon. By Chaye Paris 1762-1768."
Silver sugar spoon, LOUIS XV period.
Shell fillet model, the hemmed spoon has a very delicate pierced edge.
Marks of charge, barely legible jurande, master silversmith and discharge. Weight: 94 gr.

PARIS 1762 to 1768.
MO: Germain Chayé.

It is in very good condition.
The spoon was re-hallmarked in Italy in Turin in the 19th century (see photo).
It is numbered with later initials J B.
