Black school pencil case in black lacquered papier-mâché bearing a decal with the inscription Plumes et Crayons surrounded by flowering rubus (bramble) foliage and ripening blackberry fruits. This model is in very good, fresh condition despite its age because this is one of the first pencil cases whose closure is done by pressing on the lid which is perfectly adjusted to the pencil cases, unlike later models which were made with a small press button which was much easier to manufacture.
