17th century RHINE work for this Cabinet in molded and richly carved wood decorated with columns, niches and foliage. Architecturally shaped cabinet in solid walnut with three columns. Composed of two lateral bodies assembled in the middle by groove and tongue. The unified whole rests on a base where two juxtaposed drawers slide, resting on flattened ball feet. The whole is topped with a straight and overhanging cornice. The main body is flanked by three columns with Corinthian capitals raised on 3 twisted ringed columns. The central column acts as a door frame. The doors are decorated with architectural frames decorated with animated scenes in sculpture topped with architectural perspectives. Magnificent work by a master cabinetmaker is completed with very careful locksmith work. Dimensions: h217 x x 201 x 64 cm.
