Monochrome print depicting an interior view of the Bath of the Temple of Bacchus in Catania at the end of the 18th century drawn and engraved by Jean-Pierre Houel (1735-1813). Jean-Pierre Houel is best known for his illustrated guide to Sicily "Voyage illustré des isles de Sicile, de Malte et de Lipari" published in the 1780s. Framed in a modern wooden frame, it measures 21.7x34.5 cm at the image.
