View of 19th Century VeniceWith vivid colors and swift brushstrokes, the artist of this painting has wonderfully captured a large boat departing from the bustling city of Venice on a beautiful sunny day, in the distance we can see the iconic St. Mark's Square with the Campanile. The painting appears unsigned but is similar in style to the works of Félix Ziem and Henri Duvieux.
On the reverse is an inscription "Bouchet... 73 Paris"The canvas measures approx. 65*44 cm and the total dimensions with new frame are approx. 85 by 65 cm.
