"Set Of 12 Römer Wine Glasses In Enameled Blown Glass"
Set of 12 Römer wine glasses in amber-tinted blown glass, dating from the first half of the 20th century.The glasses are identical in format, each calibrated to 1/4 litre; however, every piece is unique, adorned with a different motto embossed in white and red enamel, written in archaic German. These inscriptions are, for me, difficult to translate precisely, as some letters are hard to decipher and certain words belong to an ancient vocabulary that requires linguistic expertise I do not possess.
The goblets are in good condition overall, though 9 of them show small chips along the edge of the foot.
