Because Louis XIV loved this marble much and used this marble in several rooms at Versaille, it was named 'Rouge Royal', it's got nothing to do with the royals of Belgium. Originating from a Maison Maitre in Mons-Belgium, built in 1775. Fireplace is complete with 4 solid pieces total, easy to re-install.
