Large Champagne Bucket in Thick Crystal
Impressive champagne bucket in transparent crystal, weighing approximately 8 kg. Hot-modeled with stretching techniques, it was crafted around 1950/1960 at the Val Saint Lambert crystal factory in Belgium, by Antonio and/or Guido Bon.
The piece is in perfect condition. While unsigned, it retains its original Val Saint Lambert label and is documented (see attached photos).
This work can be compared to pieces by André Thuret for Daum in Nancy.

About the Designers
Antonio and Guido Bon were two Italian designers active during the 1950s and 1960s. Specializing in furniture and decorative objects, they collaborated with several European manufacturers. In the 1960s, they designed a small series of pieces for Val Saint Lambert, including this bucket. Their work is characterized by simple shapes, clear lines, and a strong focus on function. Today, their creations are highly sought after by collectors of 20th-century design.
