A monochrome, almost immaculate surface is crossed by a thin, dark, brutal and irregular line, which seems to divide the space like a scar. The artist plays with imperfections: breaks, frictions, elevations of the pictorial surface become integral elements of the plastic language. The painting seems to speak of time, wear, silence, and what resists beneath the surface. Jibeili proposes an aesthetic of asceticism, where every detail counts, where the material itself becomes expression.
