Daughter of Sergei BOTKIN. 1832-1889. Physicist and activist. Marie studied in Paris in 1890 and in Italy (1906-1908), known for her links with Odilon Redon. For whom she was the vases used by Redon for the series: bouquets of flowers. Redon made portraits of herself, including a pastel kept at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
