The Gien faience factory is located in the town of Gien in the Loiret department (45). - Gien holographic signature of the Gien faience factory under the underside of the base of the vase and the letter A intaglio in the stoneware paste. The decoration and shape of this vase are not listed in the book Faïence de Gien 1821-1900 by Michèle-Cécile Gillard published by Massin.
