Bactrian stone weights are ancient artifacts associated with the region of Bactria, which encompasses parts of present-day Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. These weights are primarily linked to the Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex (BMAC) or Oxus civilization, dating roughly from 2200–1700 BCE, though some may be later or earlier depending on context.
It's believed they were used as standard weights for measuring goods in marketplaces or during official transactions.
