F. Legrand & Cie - LimogesExceptional Limoges porcelain dessert service, including 12 dessert plates and a large cake platter with handles. This rare set dates from 1895–1910, a key period for the Legrand house. It features a sumptuous fine gold and black decoration with an oriental interlacing motif, in the historic Moorish style of the Belle Époque, typical of luxury porcelain intended for export. The combination of the immaculate white background, the deep black outline and the golden arabesques gives this set an exceptional refinement.
