Buddha Shakyamuni Bronze Raised Hand Abhaya Mudra, Late 19th Century Sculpture
Bronze sculpture representing Buddha seated with his right hand raised in Abhaya Mudra and his left hand holding a bowl.
It is most certainly of Chinese origin, in fact, the expression of the face, and the posture seem to attribute to the Buddha Shakyamuni in Chan (Zen) Buddhist art.
To be confirmed.
Very beautiful patina and details.
Period late 19th, early 20th century.
Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 150 euros rest of the world.
