Vase created by Georges Dunaime in 1925.
Important pear-shaped vase on heel and flared neck. Molded blown red crystal, partly satin-finished decorated with stylized flowers on the lower part and bamboo stems on the upper part.
Georges Dunaime, decorator and glassmaker, produced works in different fields, many of which were presented at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925: lighting fixtures combining glass and metal, Baccarat crystal vases and bowls... He also worked at the Manufacture de Porcelaine de Sèvres.
Model listed in the Baccarat catalog for the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in 1925. A copy of the vase can be seen at the Baccarat Museum in Paris.
Height approximately 30 cm. Diameter at the widest point approximately 20 cm.
