Louis XVI Period Writing Desk In Citronnier And Amaranth - Late 18th Century
A secretaire desk in moiré citronnier veneer, mahogany, and brass fillets. Our desk is a late Louis XVI production that may have been made under the Directory, in the years 1790-1800.
This beautiful, refined piece of furniture opens with a drop-leaf top revealing a theater with numerous small drawers. The worktop is lined with green leather for writing.
