An artist with a supple and expressive line, G. Scot developed a very personal style, between stylized realism and suggestive elegance, often centered on the idealized male figure: athletic torso, charming gaze, relaxed body. His drawings are imbued with a gentle, never crude, sensuality, in keeping with the very demanding editorial line of Der Kreis, which rejected all vulgarity in order to defend a dignified and valorizing image of the homosexual man.
