"Pair Of "heart" Chairs By Mathieu Matégot, Circa 1950"
Pair of "cardiac" model chairs with heart-shaped backs by French designer Mathieu Matégot (1910-2001). The frame is made of round iron and the seat is made of perforated metal sheets using a technique invented by the designer in 1952, Rigitulle. Mathieu Matégot stopped designing furniture in 1959.
