COFFEE TABLE
The top is made with an 18th-century marquetry parquet element in "cubed" sycamore maple, walnut and cherry veneer. The parquet comes from the first-floor apartment of the private mansion located at number 7 rue Neuve-des-Capucins in Grenoble (called rue Voltaire since 1773), purchased in January 1780 by Jean-François Hache for the considerable sum of 22,700 livres. Under the top we have glued a cartouche reproducing the mention written in ink under another element of the same parquet "made this July 19, 1782".
Dimensions: 134.4 × 75.5 cm – H. 40.6 cm
