After studying textiles and fashion, he was artistic director of the Tokyo International Fashion School. He now lives in Bangkok.
His works decorate renowned sites such as Alain Ducasse's Spoon restaurant, the Parrot Cay Hotel, the Metropolitan Hotel in London, the Prince Hotel in Melbourne and the Cheval Blanc in Courchevel, as well as the Mandarin Oriental in Paris.
