Exceptional Louis XVI style alcove sofa, in cream lacquered wood, dating from the 20th century. It rests on five richly carved and sheathed legs, three at the front and two at the back. The back and sides are in cane, (double cane for the sides). All the woodwork of this sofa is entirely carved and molded. One of the main particularities of its cabinetmaking is the work on the inward return of the ends of the sides, giving it a lot of elegance, as well as this enveloping and warm side. This delightful sofa has its box spring, its high-quality mattress, as well as two bolsters and 4 small cushions. Each of these pieces is upholstered with a zipper, thus facilitating their cleaning. This sofa is in good condition, the canework is impeccable, note some small visible stains on the fabrics (easily cleanable). Dimensions: 173cm wide, 69cm deep, and 98cm high.
