"Oil Barrel"
Typical Saintonge oil barrel, made of very light terracotta for its size. 16th/17th century. Brown enamel still visible. Sticks forming a Roman numeral, some finger dents as decoration on this very sober piece of use. 2 chips on the neck do not weaken the piece. Very elegant object.
