Rare set of 15 slip-glazed plates, Sarreguemines majolica, France, late 19th century. Decorated with 3 naturally branched orchids. Ivory background, beautiful shades of purple, green, and yellow. Diameter: 21.5 cm. Numbered and signed under the base. Lovely naturalistic decor. Good overall condition. Note: 5 plates have slightly greener edges than the others, with some minor enamel chips, but not serious. A superb model and in large numbers...
