Franck Innocent is a painter, lithographer and wood engraver from the Rouen School born in Sahurs in 1912. As a teenager, he received advice from Marcel Couchaux, whose studio he attended from the age of fifteen and whom he accompanied for a long time in nature in order to paint with him from life. He was a member of the Artistes Rouennais from the age of 15. His painting is colorful and free, he paints on the motif with great freedom. His works are, among others, exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art of the city of Paris, the Museum of Fine Arts of Rouen, the Eugène Boudin Museum of Honfleur.
