1840 Turner's Masterpiece

Description:
Cherry wood, ivory, (iron, bronze, leather, brass). This small spinning wheel is characterized by an ivory decoration in rings, buttons and inlays. The woodwork is particularly refined as well as the ivory additions.
As such, the ivory rings are similar to those of the chess pieces from the Charles X period, dating this spinning wheel around this time.
Declaration procedure, the small quantity of ivory carved on this object as well as its date of manufacture make it a pre-convention object requiring only a declaration procedure and not a CITES
Condition:
Excellent for this type of object, very rare almost invisible ivory losses.
