"19th Century Austrian Style Enameled Metal Vienna Vase"
19th century Viennese vase in finely enameled metal, with polychrome decoration of gallant and pastoral scenes, in the Rococo style. The flared silhouette, with a trilobed rim, is adorned with decorative friezes and elegant figures evolving in bucolic landscapes. The base rests on a richly worked gilt bronze mount, decorated with three winged cherubs in the round, holding floral attributes, in a delicately Baroque setting. Each side of the domed base is decorated with enameled medallions, continuing the romantic narrative theme. Origin: Austria, Vienna Height: 15.5 cm
