Pair of portraits of a man (Audio René 1787 - 1851) and a lady (Audio Jeanne). Pastels on paper mounted on stretcher dated 1826 and signed on the back of the lady.
It is mentioned on the back of the lady's portrait: "Painted by Mr Chamafar (to be confirmed) place du Pilory (Pilori) at Sabot Mignon. Anger. In June 1826"
Gold leaf gilded frames and original bubbled glass.
