Elegant Italian painting from the 18th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting a portrait of a young gentleman, of good pictorial quality. The particular hairstyle and refined clothing are consistent with men's fashion and official portraiture of the bourgeois and aristocratic sphere of the second half of the 18th century. 20th century frame in carved and gilded wood, with some signs of aging. Artwork already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and recoloring in some places. Overall in good state of conservation.
