The decorative elements are made of galvanized copper, GIngko leaves, snails and butterflies. This console is a unique piece created in 2012 and is signed and dated by the artist.

Ilinca NICODIM is a Romanian artist born in 1965, daughter of the famous visual artist Ion Nicodim.
In 1979, she left her home country to join her family who had preceded her in Paris.
After studying art history at the Sorbonne and contemporary art, she decided to sculpt in her father's studio in Bucharest and Paris.
Her work as a sculptor extends to the creation of furniture as well as the art of jewelry and abstract works. Influenced by Giacometti, Brancusi, and Claude Lalanne, her works are inspired by the plant and animal world. This large and beautiful console is made of bronze with a golden patina.
