"Large Chocolate Cup From The Early 19th Century In Solid Silver, Old Man's Hallmark, Charles X Restoration"
This beautiful chocolate cup decorated with vine branches is in good condition, with some small dents and slight traces of time. Note the beautiful handle in the shape of a winged woman. Both pieces have an old man's hallmark (guaranteed solid silver between 1819 and 1838) and a Ceres head hallmark (Paris hallmark). A goldsmith's hallmark, partly erased, is visible under the saucer. When you look closely, this cup seems to have been made in three separate parts. I don't know if this is an old restoration or if it is original. Height of the cup (without the handle): 10 cm. Diameter of the saucer: 14.5 cm. Total weight: 238 grams. Fast, careful and very secure shipping, free for France.
