Beautiful decorative object, good size, 51 cm x 30 cm, circa 1900, rigid core covered with stitched calfskin, embossed, painted with colored varnishes, with on front a superb bouquet of polychrome poppies high relief.
Neat object, this cylinder can contain and present walking sticks or umbrellas, just as well as be placed in office as a luxurious basket.
Good general condition, beautiful patina, slight wear on surface, braiding of upper edge a little tired all the same: small losses and small collages.
