Exceptionally fine Anglo-Indian Country chest of drawers / chest of drawers. Made of 2 parts. Teak wood, 19th century. Structure in perfect condition. Beautiful color. English country furniture is a type of furniture originally designed for army officers during military campaigns (especially in the 18th and 19th centuries), particularly in the British Army. It was designed to be easily transported when traveling. Therefore, it is often collapsible or foldable, sturdy and lightweight, and fitted with brass fittings to protect the furniture.
