THE PRICE INITIALLY DISPLAYED, ERRONEOUS, WAS CORRECTED ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 2 AT 6:30 PM

Chalice in formerly tinned brass, with a flared cup, hexagonal section leg with a large central node decorated with engraved oves and quatrefoils, fitted with a large horizontal foot with peripheral steps composed of six lobes.
Height: 19.2 cm.
FLANDERS or NETHERLANDS (?), late 15th century.

Conservation condition:
Very good, poor consolidation at the junction of the leg and the foot is noted.
Technical comment: The central node is composed of two molded caps shaped "au repoussé", the foot, of six tabs cut to the template; all these elements are assembled and brazed. The peripheral steps extending the six lobes of the foot are also added by brazing. A tiny iron peg holds the knot in place in the center of the leg
