Platinum ring set in its center with an unheated Ceylon lavender star sapphire cabochon weighing 12.34 carats (13.01 x 10.24 x 8.58) in a surround of marquise-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds of good quality (DEF VS) for a total weight of approximately 2 carats. Very fine Japanese work from the 1970s-1980s. Mascaron hallmark for used platinum works. Note the presence of a Bellerophon certificate for the center stone.
