Sold with invoice-certificate. Perfect original condition. Jean Chevelleau (1924-1996) Born in 1924 in La Roche sur Yon, Jean Chevelleau entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1948 and became a qualified professor there - He was a student of Othon Friesz. He devoted himself entirely to painting and worked in particular with the Puteaux group, met Picabia and Fernand Leger. His synthetic and rhythmic style, imbued with a postcubist spirit, tends towards abstraction.
