Jacques Hauville Shelf From The 50s

Elegant shelf by Jacques Hauville in oak and brass, (BEMA edition) dating from the 50s. The boards are in oak veneer, the uprights in solid oak, the boards are suspended thanks to brass rods. Very good condition. Jacques Hauville is a post-war designer, he created his own publishing house BEMA, Bureau d'Etudes Modernes Appliquées à l'habitation. The furniture of the reconstruction combines the practical and the aesthetic, this shelf perfectly embodies the spirit of the time, light furniture, removable, attention to detail, light woods ... It is fixed with four screws invisibly, metal fixing brackets are fixed in the uprights.
