Paul Dupré Lafon 1900-1971 And Hermès Paris Rare Signed Desk Set In Very Good Condition
Paul DUPRÉ LAFON (1900-1971) and HERMÈS (Paris).
Rare desk set in red Hermès leather with saddle stitching and nickel-plated metal hinges:
- Desk pad marked in gold "HERMÈS 24 Fg St Honoré Paris" (44.2 cm x 33.5 cm x 2.2 cm).
- Notepad marked in gold "HERMÈS Paris dépôt" (20 cm x 12.4 cm x 3.6 cm).
Circa 1950.
IN VERY GOOD CONDITION (saddle stitching, leather and hinge), a few pages are missing from the notebook, beautiful patina: as in the photos.
Bibliography: Thierry Couvrat Desvergnes "DUPRÉ LAFON Decorator of millionaires" at Richier, Ed de l'amateur (pages 200 and 201).
