This beautiful navigational instrument takes up the aesthetic codes of sextants from the late XIXᵉ and early XXᵉ centuries, in a version probably intended for maritime teaching or pleasure sailing in the mid XXᵉ century.
The instrument consists of:
- 6 coloured filters mounted on hinges,
- 1 large and 1 small observation mirror,
- 1 telescope,
- 1 side handle.
Condition: very good overall. One screw is missing (visible in the photos), but this does not affect the operation of the instrument. Beautiful authentic brass patina.
