Superb low sideboard with three doors and three drawers, by Adrien Audoux and Frida Minnet, emblematic figures of mid-20th-century French design. This piece perfectly illustrates their artisanal, warm and natural aesthetic. The front features a remarkable checkerboard decoration of rattan sticks, expertly arranged vertically and horizontally, creating a delicate graphic effect. The pattern is punctuated by the integration of red glazed ceramic tiles with abstract decoration, typical of Audoux-Minnet's productions in collaboration with French ceramists of the 1950s. The sideboard rests on a solid compass base in natural wood that reinforces its modernist silhouette.
