18th Century Country Painting

Countryside painting from the late 18th and early 19th centuries after a work by François Boucher. Very pretty painting of very good quality with its period frame and old relining but without any trace of restoration. Very pleasant animated subject with a pastoral subject consisting of the presence of a young shepherd offering a nest with his chicks to a young girl of quality. We are in the presence of a representation entirely in fashion from the end of the 18th century with a revisited nature inhabited by the human presence as the symbol of a naturalistic happiness of an era soon to be over.
