Our painting, an oil on canvas, is not signed, but an old label, stuck on the frame, identifies it as the work of the Swiss landscape painter Joseph de Landerset born in Fribourg on 02/09/1753 and died in the same city in 1824. (see the Bénézit) After professional cleaning and restoration the painting is in very good condition. Pretty contemporary frame with a quality sober gilded rod.
