Quick description

Wonderful and ancient remnant of a portrait of a young woman, oil painting on canvas circa 1880.
Probably a sketch by the Alsatian painter Lothar von Seebach given the style and quality.
The frame and canvas have suffered the ravages of time which gives it a very particular charm.
The patina has been lightly cleaned then fixed with suitable varnish, the canvas is not signed.

Very poetic piece with a lot of character.
