Important double-sided flat desk in blackened wood veneer and numerous gilt bronze ornaments. The top covered in black leather with gilt patterns is surrounded by a gilt brass gallery.
It rests on 4 curved legs adorned with gilt bronze decorations going from the hooves to the top.
The desk opens with three drawers also surrounded by gilt bronze, the handles in the form of acanthus leaves.
On the other side, false drawers in trompe l'oeil.
Work from the Napoleon III period, Louis XV style.
The leather shows some slight wear from use visible in the photos.
