A witch's mirror is a round convex mirror, also called "witch's eye" or "banker's mirror", which once made it possible to monitor an entire room without having to move. This surveillance function explains its use in banks, shops and bourgeois houses from the 15th century, where it was used to observe servants, who believed that the mirror continued to see them even in the absence of their master, hence its evocative name. On a decorative level, the witch's mirror is appreciated for its ability to diffuse light and visually enlarge the space thanks to its convex shape. It can be used as a centerpiece, wall element, table accessory or in a mystical atmosphere like a boudoir.
