Small lady's desk in the Riesener style, mid-19th century, opening with three drawers surrounded by bronzes. The drawer edges are veneered with mahogany. This desk is veneered with speckled and slightly chenille Cuban mahogany and is of the quality of a great Parisian cabinetmaker. The drawer recesses, the underside of the desk, is in Hungarian oak. Original locks.
