Rare Napoleonic papier-mâché box with two erotic views, circa 1830. Lid with the effigy of Napoleon with a multitude of symbolic figures of what made the Emperor's glory, titled "Allegory of the civil and military pomp of the Emperor Napoleon". The interior is much less austere, a perfectly fitted lid conceals two bawdy and debauched scenes, titled "the gardener at home" and "petit petit".
