Coffee grinder called "hourglass", entirely in wrought iron, dating from the end of the 17th or beginning of the 18th century. This model, hourglass-shaped, testifies to the craftsmanship of the time, with a solid and sober design, characteristic of the first coffee grinders appeared in France in the 17th century, during the reign of the Sun King. Its diabolo-shaped design reflects the ingenuity and robustness of everyday objects of this period.
Good general condition, with traces of use. Total height 26 cm. Height of the grinder 21 cm. Diameter 12 cm.
