Elegant Pair of Louis XVI Armchairs of Neapolitan manufacture and from the late eighteenth century.
The seats have a finely carved and gold leaf gilded wooden structure, with rosette motifs and classic decorations. The backrests are medallion-shaped, slightly shaped, connected to wavy armrests that join the belt via curved uprights. The seat, large and comfortable, is padded and covered in smooth white fabric. The legs, tapered and grooved, end in a tip, giving momentum and rigor to the composition. A refined example of Neapolitan neoclassical taste, these armchairs represent a perfect balance between formal elegance and functional comfort, typical of the production of the Bourbon area.
